LAST WEEK.

Wow! Just 2 more days and it is the end of my holidays! I am kind of excited actually because it is going to be the last semester for me in RP and then internship and finally graduate from polytechnic! The remaining months will surely be fun and full of new experiences- meeting new friends and forging new bonds. Shall look forward to it!

Anyways, I spent 4 days attaching to this event called Metal Asia 2013 (MTA 2013). I was assigned to be the "ushers" of the event to help guide participants with the registration. Honestly speaking, standing for hours is totally no joke! I really salute those security guards who are on full shift- their endurance is admirable. And that, I was transfer to the surveyor department to do survey...and I finally understood what it means to be thick skin and get people to do the survey for you. Of course, despite my thickened skin, I still got a lot of rejections. I think pretty girls are more cut out for this job. Okay, that's because I was the only guy in the surveyor's team. Oh well..I am so glad I pulled through this event!

And during the four days of attachment, I managed to meet these girls and caught-up with them over dinner!
It's really very rare for us to meet because some of us are working while others internship but I am so glad we managed to make some time to catch up for school starts! I love it when we haven't meet for a long time and yet, still able to make conversation like never before- laughing and making fun of one another.

ARIEL. HUMAIRAH. YIJIN. RUWEN. ME.
And...of course, my week didn't just end there. My youth zone had a baking/cooking event to raise funds for the Israel trip at the end of the year. I kind of enjoyed spending my time with them, making the tarts and yam paste because I could see another side of them which I rarely see in church- them working hard. LOL! Anyways, I am so glad most of us had fun "suffering" together. All the estimating, pounding, cutting and baking were worthwhile. Looking forward to the next time we can come together and do these things again. I really hope to be able to build real and firm relationships with these individuals so that we can help one another go through good and bad times together. Just like other relationships, have heart to heart talks and hang out together once in awhile. Of course, more importantly, for each individual to experience God even more than now. I personally believe greater things are still to be done.
Well, gonna trust God ya!

POUNDING WITH CLEMENT AND JOANNE!
FRUIT NINJA!
And to end the day off, I went for LCSS appreciation dinner with Ben and Becky. I kind of enjoyed the efforts put up by the dinner planning committee- the performance and the host. Okay, at least I didn't waste my time there. And good thing Ben was driving! If not, I would have reached home later..

Of course, my little sister's birthday, 14041998.

Having so many things packed, I actually didn't go for GEnRe to practice the guitar score or anything this entire week. Of course, I have lots of catching up to do man! Come to think of it, there is a preview tomorrow for the performance and I am not even sure if my playing or timing is correct. Oh well, there is always this trade off between this and that. Guess setting our priorities right really is important.

Giving thanks to God for His prefect plan and timing.
Till then..! :)

If God is your partner, dare to dream bigger, to think bigger and to make your plan bigger.

I actually wanted to blog out how I really feel for the past few days.
I have been feeling quite down recently due to a few things...
But some things are probably best left unspoken.

Anyways, I recently helped out for 2XU Marathon! This is the second time I've participated for 2XU marathon as crew member. Bu this time, I helped out with Erick, Amy and Joanna under the welfare team! It was just 4 of us in the team! But I was glad because we manage to clear all the admin process like attendance taking really fast because it's only 4 of us! Thank God! After that, I brought them to 18CHEF for lunch since they've never eaten there before. Love the fellowship! :)

Anyways, holidays is coming to an end! Holidays are never enough man! This coming year is going to be my last year in RP. Gonna continue working hard and finish this part of my race to the best of my ability. But before that, I shall enjoy my holidays! Looking forward to MTA 2013 next week!

Till then!
